What we do

Practical help for today, and skills for tomorrow.

Reusable pads and period pants

Washable menstrual pads and period pants last for years. They save families money, cut down on waste, and mean girls don’t have to miss school during their period.

New knickers and bras

We collect brand-new knickers and new and gently used bras here in the UK, and distribute them in rural communities where underwear is hard to find or too expensive.

Sewing templates: helping women help themselves

We share easy sewing templates for knickers and reusable pads. Women can make their own for themselves, their daughters and their neighbours, and some can sell them to earn an income.

Give a woman a pair of knickers and she’s sorted for a while. Teach her to sew them and she’s sorted for life.

Where we work

We work with women and girls in rural communities in Uganda and across East Africa, taking donations out in person and sharing the skills to make more.

Help us reach more women

Every pack of knickers, every pad sewn and every pound given goes further than you think.
